Saw this on Fb and thought it was pretty cool considering we are watching the Olympics unfold. The sports complex built for the 1984 Winter Olympics was utilized as a graveyard due to high casualties. The story of the 1984 Olympics doesn’t have the happiest ending, but it’s definitely a story worth knowing. ---

I love dark tourism like this. Eastern Europe is full of it. I’d love to see Chernobyl someday but haven’t found a taker to come with me. ---

I made it to a few places my last time over there but yeah Chernobyl and Vukovar top my list… Got some great pics from an abandoned coastal military base in Northeastern Poland and assloads of stuff from communist era abandoned buildings all over Hungary and Croatia but still cant find the SD card… ill have to post those someday lol. ---
