I picked this up from my dad. This can fit both roles. For being an 82 this thing is in great shape. There are a few things I have on my winter to do list just to make it fully reliable. I also plan on having two different setups. An around town striped down version and a long haul setup. What my real question is: **Where the best place(s) to source parts for something this old?** I’ve googled a bunch and there’s really not much out there. I’m just looking for advice from anyone who might know more than I do. Someone to point me in the right direction. Also, if anyone has a suggestions for styles or pictures of well done ones to get ideas I’m all ears. I’m planning on a full tear down and inspection of everything this winter before I plan a nice long trip next year. ---

Bike Bandit was great when I ordered from them. Dime City Cycles has a great selection as well. That this is FUGLY, but I see potential. Such a unique looking engine. ---

How old’s your son? The first thing I thought of is that bike is begging for a rear seat backrest, a set of hard bags, and a camping trip with the boy. Might be a few years off though IIRC… ---

The full faring optioned out ones come with everything from cassette player and air venting to a built in tire inflator. ---
