# Pilot bushing and throughout bearing

i have searched on FA and everyone has a different unclear answer. how do you remove and install the pilot bushing. i’ve heard people say use a drill, use a pipe wrench, a slide hammer, “special tool”, etc. does anyone know the proper method and tool to remove and install a new pilot bearing and throuout bearing?

Use a gear puller, and a “suitable drift” for the throwout bearing.
