FYI…that TA runs 9s now after the new set up 🙂 according to the driver " It is soo scary I am afraid to keep my foot in it" :tup: To Carolina AutoMasters and Jeff Creech for being awesome people and super hospitable when me and some other Speeders hung out for a day… Bojangles and 400whp tahoes for L ---

That car was no joke the guy just couldn’t drive. I barked the tires in every gear that thing shifted well and I’m sure i ran a better time than him my first time in the car 🙂 > My car has run 9.40s at 146 with a bad launch I have made a few more changes since the show and expect high 8s this year. The reason my car was missing was I was pulling a bunch of timing the first two races I had a switch in the car to put timing back in but second was gone and it wasn’t gonna help everything was going exactly how i planned untill I lost second then I needed the bottle because I have a very low first and 3 is 1to1 it just won’t go in third at that low rpm but it did with Juice 🙂 to give you an idea how fast that was I had a tune in the car to run about 10.7 for the first two the last race was a low ten or high nine in the low 140s. The only reason i wasn’t freaking out is I had a great crew and my job was to srive i didn’t have to touch the car if i would have had to work on it I would have been a complete wreck. I had heard about the 9.40 run the other nite from my cousin that built the engine in that car. Its a beast. And truth me told the contract to sell the car back was done before the show even taped. ---

The domestic guys dont like his civic, the dsm guys dont like his launching, and the honda guys dont like his representation of them. His dad did promise to buy him a Z06 now though, so I suppose it isnt all bad. ---

A “fair” race would have been 5-7 cars w/ the bottle, and even then I think the Fbod would clearly have come out on top…A drivers race would have been 5 cars no bottle. The domestic guys def. had the right idea, set a fast car to run slower and be able to put the speed back into it if need be. I’m sure had his tranny been given time to cool in between runs he could have knocked off 10.5s, 10.0s and 9.7s consistantly depending on what version of the setup he wanted to run that time…and that’s how you win 3 out of 5 races. That and the kid clearly couldn’t drive the car… ---

The guy had no 2nd gear in a 3spd car. Thats like you trying to race 1st then shifting to 4th. So the domestic could change his timing around, how is that any different then the civic raising his boost? ---
