You’re not following correctly the TA guys DETUNED IT ON PURPOSE…it was their idea…say we run 10s and if we need to we can run low 9s to secure the win, etc… ---

the kid was whiny but that wasent fair at all. i mean fucking cmon we got a kid who is fucking 20 doing radio installs , Then we got a 36 year old engineer… real fair. ---

I know there’s another pinks episode w/ a honda that blew the block the week before that hasn’t aired yet, are you sure you’re not confusing the two (since there are at least 3 pinks this year w/ hondas) ---

No, this episode was the one where the original Honda motor let go, and they put in another to make the taping, which was in late 05 ---

No he isn’t confusing the two. The show told them a week before the taping to detune the car. ---

10 yr revisit: Pinks S2 Ep.4 Yes, this is old, but it was one of the more memorable ones and for some reason, I started thinking about this episode again, I remember it well and recall how ridiculous it was. So I went back, watched it again, and my thoughts were the same now as they were then, the Honda kid was a moron, who apparently had more money than brains, and really knew nothing about the car, or how to drive it. Watching it again, led me to wonder what happened to these guys since then, but then I started reading and got caught up into supposedly what really went down. One thing that stuck out in my mind was the supposed “sabotaged” hose. When the episode first aired, and that happened, i thought to myself that nobody cut it, he’s looking for an excuse and they pinched it somewhere. Everything explained in the link, is what I thought and figured from the get go, except the part about the guy actually crying and eventually getting the car back, minus the bumpers!
