# PITTSBURGH MAZDA TRACK DAY!!!!

Price: 95 a person with 15 drivers, the more the cheaper

Ok guys i have been working on getting us all a track day at [BeaveRun](http://www.beaverun.com/)
I got in touch with a guy at BeaveRun and with 15 people it will be 95 bucks a person. This is for a private event. If we get more the price will go down.
Also in order to schedule the event will also need a 50% deposit
These are the list of dates that the area for the event WILL NOT be available to us. I would like to have this event on a saturday so the guys that are traveling can either crash at a hotel in pittsburgh or not be getting home real late and then have to wake up for work.
May 30,31
June 6,7,27,28
July 11,12
Aug 1,2,22,23
Sept 12
I just got off the phone with chris at beaverun and he was telling me about the gymkhana events that they are trying to setup for the 09 year. Its not going be to anything crazy like the ken block video.
It will be the same price as the private AutoX event and we have two options to choose from
1. We can do a less technical course and have 2 identical courses setup side by side so you will be running along side someone. This will let you actually see where you and/or your car has its advantages and disadvantages by seeing where you either pull away or lose some ground at different area of the coarse. Plus it lets run with another person so that will add a new element for some of us.
2. They can setup 2 courses each being different but more technical then the courses in option 1. 2 cars will run each track. One will run track A and the other track B and then after your run you switch tracks and then combine your times and thats how you will tell who the winner is.
Hopefully these make sense lol, But Chris is also going to make us a sub-forum on the beaverun forum so we can get info and try to get better organized.

Im sorry but 95 bucks for auto x is alittle pricey if it was north circut it would be a different story.

The reason the price is a lil higher is cause its a private event so we are paying for the rental of the VDA and paying for the workers. The more people that come the cheaper it will be.
Also keep in mind that its a lil different from just a plain ole AutoX event, we will most likely be going with option 1 and it will be a nice change going along side some one and not just racing against the clock.

I’ve done a few private events in the past and getting to run until you tires melt and you’re brakes hate you is just worth the extra money. Plus you can adjust the course to your liking.

Any of you mazda guys keep these dates in mind August 8th or the 22nd are the dates im shooting for. I will have more details after i get some more input from others and talk to Chris.
Also i might be extending this to non-mazda’s as well, so keep this in the back of your head if your interested in this.

hmmm, when do you have to know by, and if its mazdas only, can i bring a 87 B2000 truck? thats the only mazda i have at my disposable.

we have not set a final date yet but its going to be either in august or September, and ill have to ask if you can bring the truck, that is if its going to be mazda only.
