For those of you less fortunate in understanding and figuring out that darn interweb, this thread is dedicated to deciphering the nerdy lingo members of superior intelligence use in order to express themselves while not wasting a whole lot of time actually typing it out, because alot of times our comments are not worth the 1.5 seconds we use to respond to sometimes meaningless and ultimately uber gay threads or responses. It is just a way to get our shot in and walk away, sorta like that part in the movie Hannibal, where he is walking down the street and sticks that dude and keeps on walkin. haha, good movie. Anyway. This is for you, less fortunate random dude walking down the street thats about to get poked…
**/_yournamehere_** - Backslash is used sometimes in various forms of computer and web programming to symbolize the **end** of a function statement. When used in conjunction with your username, it means: end, end yourself, kill youself, etc…
**DIAF** - When people are burnt to death, its usually a slow, painful process of demise. When someone replies ‘DIAF’, this means they wish you to **Die In A Fire**.
**something \>** something **\<** someone **=** something - Mathematic operators are used in conjunction with nouns and verbage to express standing relationships. If you don’t understand what greater than (\>), less than (\<) and equal to (=) represent or define, refer to ‘ **/** ’ and **/yourself**
**STFU** - Kindly put and work safe this means **SHUT THE FUCK UP**.
**!** - Used in conjunction with **=** , it means that variables be compared are NOT equal. _Ex.:Be\_Rad \< huskysgrl AND huskysgrl != Be\_Rad_
**pwned** - A corruption of the word “Owned.” This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled “owned.” When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so “has been owned.” Instead, it said, so-and-so “has been pwned.” It basically means “to own” or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force :owned:
**teh** - Originally just a misspelling from people typing too fast, “teh” has become a word used by net.writers to exemplify people who are ignorant or simply not thinking clearly (perhaps because they’re typing too fast).

WTF does “teh” mean? Always seems to be used when “the” should be used. I still havent figured out if it is just a spelling mistake or some sort of lingo.

When ! is used in conjunction with =, it means that it is NOT equal to whatever is being said.
Be\_Rad \< huskysgrl
