6 speeds do better with 4.10’s than my t5 does. Something about the gear ratios in the tranny itself. Im not even talking about hammering it. Going easy I can only make it a short distance before the tach is at 5500 or so. My car doesnt do too well on the street tires but since I sold my DR’s theyre all Ive got. Ive got 225/55/16 Hankooks on it. ---

Im not buying different wheels and tires. These tires only have about 4k on them. I might eventually buy a set of 16" DR’s if I keep this car though. ---

It should be able to handle the stock size tires since its supposed to be a street car and not a full on drag car. I got an offer I couldnt refuse on the DR’s I had so I sold them. I was sick of having mismatched wheels anyway- 16’s on the front and 15’s on the back. It looked stupid. ---

It looked stupid. youre a putz its a 347 stroker. a 225 is made for a anemic 302, and even then they struggle. ---

I figure the car puts down about 300 hp to the wheels, maybe less so I dont see the need for much more than a stock size v or z (cant remember what they are) tire. Its the gears that are too much for the car, not the size of the tires. I dont think theyd spin as much with 3.73’s. ---
