Progress is being made lately. The motor is going together and the car is at the same location as the motor as of last weekend. I still need to order a few parts but nothing major- just a pulley spacer and an egr similutar and maybe pushrods. We decided to eliminate the EGR after realizing the heads arent drilled for EGR shit and I know the EGR isnt a big deal on a 5.0 anyway. I was promised that the car will be done by the Adirondack Nationals car show. ---

Really theres not 3 weeks of work to be done so it should be ok. Last year I picked it up at 5 on Friday and drove it up to the show after getting headgaskets and a clutch installed. Im not sure if I want to be doing burnouts since Im not going to have alot of miles on the motor by then. Last year I didnt do them because my clutch and rearend had 50 miles on them when I got up there. I picked the car up in CP and drove it to LG that day. ---

I dont want to fuck it up 50+ miles from home, thats all. Been there, done that and it aint fun. Im considering borrowing/renting a trailer for that weekend though. Speaking of trailers I was supposed to help get my car off one but then it rained. The heads are on, the motor is painted, the piston to valve clearance was checked and I dont need to order pushrods. I ordered an egr simulator and a block off plate and now need to get an IAC adjuster since I cant find mine anywhere. ---
