# Places that sell/stock old plumbing fixtures locally...

Looking for places locally that would potentially stock old plumbing fixtures. My bathroom is vintage 1920’s and in the last 6 weeks the porcelain handles have started to break. I am down to one that works and it is already cracked in half.
Buffalo Reuse doesn’t keep much in the way fixtures tried them a couple of times.
Someone suggest Ed Youngs True Value in Williamsville.
Looking for some other options that people know of.

Try epoxying them back together? You can try LA Hazards on California Rd in OP. They may not have them but might point you in the right direction.

They shattered completely beyond repair, thanks for the two suggestions, anymore would be welcome. Want to gut and remodel this damn bathroom in the worst way but no money for it right now.

Stopped over at Ed Youngs on my lunch break, they have new Porcelain handles that have universal adapter kits the gents there said they where fairly confident based on pictures and the piece i had with me that it work. Going to see if I can find them online cheaper and they maybe get one locally and try to verify they work.

they have them, and helped you first hand. why order online when you can support a local business?

I am fairly certain I saw the kit for half the price on a few websites. If the price is close online then yes I will be happy to support the local guy but 50% higher then sorry not happening.

That’s a pretty dick move considering you walked in with no idea how to fix it and they handed you the solution.
I do a ton of online shopping but I wouldn’t go to experts like they have at Ed Youngs for their advice, get great help, then walk out and order the same thing online regardless of price. I’m sure we’re not talking about that much money.

Usually if I’m at the place, and the person pointed my to exactly what would fix my problem, I’ll just grab it. Unless I know it’s grossly over priced or I could save like $100+ getting it somewhere else.
