# Planning for Air Date

**Things to do:**
- Party Location and event arrangement - Whitey
- List of invited guests - All
- Press Release - Spangler
- Ebay Auction - Whitey
- Getting the word out when location is finalized - All
- Talk to organizations that we are donating money too - Spangler
- Transportation of the Cars and prepping of cars - Pewterss and his team
I already started on the Event arrangements. I have calls into Sports Rock, Mario’s, and Town Tavern. I am pretty sure it will be at Sports Rock. But i want some bargaining ability.
I will talk to KDKA Radio, and Street Heaters to help get the word out. Can anyone else think of a good medium to get the word out on the air date? The press release should be able to hit all the papers. Post Gazette might be able to get a photographer down at the event.
Spangler, if you have any problems with what i assigned to you let me know. I can do them but I don’t want to spread myself to thin.

no problem, have press release half way done…walked up our PA office and got the book that has every news desk fax number from pa to wv to ohio
sending a letter to bernie chaplin head of clear channel marketing to see about a radio station coming on board with us and help annouce it
sports rox when you talk to them ask if they want to do a fundraiser at the door?? $1 dollar entry fee all proceeds go to the donating charties
i need a list of the exact charties we are donating to!!
