I never heard of RHD being illegal in NY… IMO RHD would be kinda pointless to have in the states.
Hooked on 240: You should get the Skyline and convert to LHD… USDM TYTE!

I’ve been researching alot lately like to much because now I actually want to go and do it :lol but there are plenty of ways you can legally register a rhd car, plus you can get r32 skylines dirty cheap like less than 10k with super low mileage like 40k kilometers plus you can get silvia’s and old evo’s I found a 1993 gsr evo thats up in canada with 60k kilometers for 6700 I think, theres tons of rhd ae86’s. I’ve been lookin on [jdmconnection.org](http://jdmconnection.org) they are supposedly really legit and their prices are real good.

dude I want to so bad, registering it is still a complete pita but you can do it legally, I’ve read that oregon has really relaxed registration laws and you can register a car there with just a po box. then once its registered there you’re good to drive it anywhere in the US. I may wait til im 18 for that one though, not sure what the
p-units would think about me buying a car from japan and it gets shipped in to B.C then registering it in Oregon, then having it shipped to Florida where I’m going to be living for the majority of the year, they’d look at me and just :crackup :stfu

i can with y new job, just gotta save up. im already looking to rent a house in june. 3bedrooms and 1 car garage for 800 or less a month.
there multiple R32’s in canada that are somewhat stock for under 10K.

they dont lhd skyline dashboards so thats a one off special. or modify an s13 dash to fit. but then you need to worry about a lhd firewall for it. and steering rack. and everything else. just keep it rhd. and yes they are legal. jeep produces rhd cars right now. in the usa. the major downfall to having a rhd on our street system is left hand turns. and taking off from the sidewalk when there are cars in front and behind you. and drivethroughs.
