eh, i don’t think Nikon is the greatest. it’s just all i’ve ever shot with and i’m comfortable with it, it has worked for me well, so i’m sticking with the brand. ---

Nikon and Canon are both GREAT cameras. Can’t go wrong on either brand. ---

Only reason I suggest Nikon is due to the number of people on here that use Nikon. If you are ever looking for any pointers from anyone on here, you will get a better response than if you went with a canon. Seeing as you started this thread, you will probably end up asking more questions about the camera once in hand. ---

Why would you get a better response with a Nikon? WB/ISO/Shutter Speed/Aperature/etc… all exist on all cameras. Even on the different Nikon cameras, they’re set in different spots. Canon’s are plenty popular, can’t see why you would have a hard time finding used lenses. That said, I use a Nikon and love it. ---
