Alright NYSpeeders, I’m calling on your help to support my cause in the Ride for Roswell this year. Last week, I ran in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in memory of my good friend’s mother (You may have seen a news segment on it, Bald for Boobies). Next week, I’ll be partaking in the Ride for Roswell for the first time with another good friend of mine, who also ran with me in the Komen Race. We will be riding in honor of his mother, who currently battles lung cancer. She was diagnosed just over a few years ago, and has had a pretty tough battle with several chemo/radiation treatments. I need to raise a minimum of $150 for the ride, so if you have anything, and I mean ANYTHING, to offer, please donate to my page below: [http://rideforroswell2012.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=999127&lis=1&kntae999127=5F9929C475CD4E9B8C26DBDB5D16DA7D&supId=361167133](http://rideforroswell2012.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=999127&lis=1&kntae999127=5F9929C475CD4E9B8C26DBDB5D16DA7D&supId=361167133) Once you click on that link, you can donate by clicking on the “Click Here to donate to my Ride” flashing button in the top right portion of my page. Like I said, any and all donations are greatly appreciated. So please help me out here. Thanks in advance!! Maybe I’ll sport a NYSpeed sticker on my bike since I have an extra laying around :D. ---

You’re now over your goal so go have some fun and be safe. My Dad beat prostate cancer this year and thank God it was fairly quick and easy with no side effects. I couldn’t even try to imagine what others must go through fighting this horrible disease. Be safe and thank you! Derek ---

She had breast cancer before and tumors removed from her head. Now she is on a morphine drip ☹ . Glad your dad is ok. My grandmother beat breast cancer as well.
