# Poker Crew v.what are the odds :(

after the flop he had 9 flush outs, and 7 straight outs (you had one of the Aces…or else it woulda been 8).
so, after the flop he was a 64% chance of catching…not looking good for you…even after you turned what was at the time the nuts, he still had all his outs, with one card to go giving him a 34% chance of catching you…
this shit happens all the time…it’s so frustrating.

I was thinking about holding games at my house. I know my roommate would be interested.
Anyways, I’ve played at the casino a lot and have seen many quads, never a royale though… and even though it’s already been stated, he had many outs. hehe.
Furthermore, Big Slick is a winning hand FOR SURE. I think you guys may need to reevaluate your preflop betting. . . if the flop hits and you haven’t paired up AND there are MULTIPLE other betters that you couldn’t scare away [especially with pussyfoot raising], you should be getting out :shrug:
Can’t reclaim your nuts by going all in after a call and pussy raise, hehe :tup:

:word: I have never seen a royal in all my times playing or watching…caught straight flushes before though
and yes, AK is a hand that you either bet hard at or just toss aside like any other connectors…

The frustrating part is that he’s NOT a very good player and relys heavily on the bluff.
I KNOW I played it poorly, and thats what i get for going slack because I’ve been playing with him for months, and have caught myself assuming his habits too much. ☹
