I guess why not get the taxes from it, but then I still think it can be harmful. But so are cigarettes, alcohol, blah blah. Either way, I hope my kids donā€™t smoke it, but I also hope they donā€™t smoke cigarettes or eat at McDonaldā€™s too often. no reason for it to be legal. its bad enough dumb ppl get drunk and carry on. if ppl were able to just smoke a tiny amount then it wouldnt be that bad but youll always have someone who abuses it and gets in way to deep. personally i hate dealing with stoned ppl and drunk ppl. now ppl under slight disturtion arent that bad but past that point they are no good for anything and usually get in more trouble then anything and the facts that being high doesnt lead to auto accidents and that nonsense is totall bullshit. anything can impare youre judgement. ---

Wait a min, so smokeing pot is less destructive than smoking cigarettes now? Last time I checked inhaling a toxin into into your lungs still can cause other medical problems like cancer and so forth. Christ look at where ciggarettes are now and days, they jack up the prices and make it harder and harder to smoke in public. You smoking pot in a public places is no less harmfull than cigarettes. You are still going to get 2nd hand smoke. Then please tell me that ā€œmunchiesā€ arnā€™t an issue either. So you wanta bunch of overweight kids playing video games, eating more and smoking pot now? Sorry but thats great Mike you can truley control your habit, but unfortunatly others canā€™t. Adding additional fuel to a fire does not put it out. Just like the speeding thing mentioned ealier. There are a lot of drivers out there that can handle vehicles at a high speed. The problem is the other morons. Thats why youā€™ll never see an autobahn here. People need to be protected from themselves or harming others. Yes it could come down to a parental thing, but sorry, a lot of morals have been lost over the past 20 years, and one of the things lacking is parental guidance. ---
