Lobbyists and people expressing opinions affect every. piece. of. legislation. Every one. Our latest health care bill, cash for clunkers, the bailout, Roe v. Wade, WWI, the Declaration of Independence… Everyone lobbying for each one of those believed that they were helping the country. Were they? That’s an OPINION. As far as things being ‘allowed,’ do you mean more spending? That’s the American way lately. Want to change it? Express an opinion. Seriously tho, you have demonstrated that you know little to nothing of how government works our even our party system.
