Seriously, I can’t even see many of those selling at all. It would be silly to bring that here, I don’t know which is more disappointing. ---

It all comes down to profit and several recent trends have more than likely greatly affected the bottom line on the G8 lineup. 1. People are flocking to smaller cars and hybrids, not larger cars with big V6’s and V8 options. 2. The tanking US dollar makes building a car in Aussieland and importing it here that much more expensive. The same thing really hurt the GTO, which was originally supposed to price out right with a well equipped Mustang GT in the mid to upper 20’s. The dollar sank and the final price ended up being in the low 30’s, out of the range of it’s #1 competitor. If they’re going to hold the price point they originally quoted on the G8 there can’t be much profit there with the current state of the dollar. Add in the costs of shipping it here (those big boats don’t get great MPG’s either), the delays associated with trans-pacific shipping etc and you can clearly understand why a version that history has shown will be a bust in the US market was dropped. I highly doubt the ute will make it here either if they’ve killed the wagon. ---

Yeah, I have a Newf, George is his name, just turned 4 months old on the 11th. He is a Landseer, a black and white Newf. he has AWESOME coloring, all black head, big black spots on his back, and dalmation looking legs. ---
