My folks are buying a house in Williamsville, it has an in-ground gunite pool. Anybody have a hookup/recommendation of someone who can come out and see if anything is wrong with it or any ideas on what to look for?

Best bet… Call the town of Williamsville and speak with someone there. They should be able to tell you what the code is, but they may even send someone out to measure and verify it.

I know the code varies from town to town…

I’ve always gone through Majestic Pools for my pool stuff and found their people to be top notch. They also were the ones to install the pool prior to us buying the house.

Yeah don’t call the town. Call a pool place and ask if they will do an inspection.

Yeah, calling town for code compliance seems like asking a cop to check if you’re speeding… Not looking for code stuff anyway - regular inspector should catch that, more to look at the condition of the pool itself and the plumbing stuff. Will call Majestic and see what’s up - thanks.
