# Poor Zenki revs low...

Hey guys, got a pretty easy one here… I think…

Car revs really low… like at 500rpms when idleing… Dash lights are dim and the blower (interior heat) runs low… As soon as I rev it the dash lights get a little brighter and the blower gets more powerfull… Alternator??

Any thoughts…?

Its a 95 Le with lots of Km’s on the stock engine.

Yeah i think its your alternator, I had a similar problem. When the car is running remove the negative terminal to the battery if the car turns off it’s your alt.

Check your battery contacts too. Clean them if need be.

Why is my car reving at 500 rpm’s? You got me man… I dunno… That’s part of my original question…

So we think it’s the alternator then??

i would check the tps sensor, and calibate, check dizzy timing, make sure its 20 degrees BTDC. and lastly adjust the IACV and clean it first. to make sure it idles at the right speed.

also is everything fine after you stay above 650/750 rpms (stock idle)?
