^ lmao… honestly, in my opinion, pop up lights man, look at all the cars on the road, we’re the unique bunch with pop up lights, we can go sleepy eye or even winky-wink to impress the ladies as we drive by haha(just for example, I don’t do it since I’m rocking sleepy eyes but good for a tease\flirt). I’m sticking with pop up lights, compared to all other cars, they’re unique and no new car will probably ever have them…:’( & in that case, it makes them retro cooler! 😉 also agree that hatches can be more played out in front end swaps & mods… HATCHES\>COUPES p.s - if you stick with pop up, spend that money on a sexy new bumper instead…that’s my final advice. ---

I say sil40, I have a 93 which had nice fresh paint on it, and still swapped out to the silvia frontend. even mismatched I personally like the look much better than the popups. Only with dual projectors though. not a fan of bricks, and any triple projectors need to be melted down to nothingness 🙂 ---

i like sil40 i am planning on doing a sil40 conversion soon soooo… if anyone has advice that has already done this or knows of a link that can help with project please let me know. ---

I’m pretty sure if all our 240s came stock with a silvia front end… many would do the conversion to pop ups. ---

Yeah alot of people do stuff just to get what’s rare. Back when I had my probes alot of guys were trying to get the european taillights for them which has amber signals and were much uglier than the clean all red tails but they were rare so that’s what they wanted. I personally think the silvia front end is nicer than the popups, but yes I’m sure there are others who would do the swap just to be different regardless of liking it or not. Actually now that I think of it I never used to like the silvia front end when I saw it in pics, but after Chris (Keez) did the conversion on his car and I saw it in person it just gave the car an all new look which I loved. Its much much nicer in person, as with alot of things pics don’t always do justice ---
