> Sure, GM once owned 20 percent of subaru. What we ended up with was a sabbaru. The dynamics of a relationship sometimes does not go beyond “limited” amounts of cooperation.

Porsche does more coop work with VAG than gm has ever done with anyone. The cayenne = a toureg. the corrado = a fwd 944 (sorta). ever hear of an rs2?

Sabbaru 9-2 = WRX wagon

Before the partnership got nixxed the Tribecca was also going to be some GM suv.

But thats beside the point.

Apparently they missed the boat on the Veyron A 4200lb supercar would have made Ferdinand Porsche roll over in his grave.

> Yeah I know it was a joke. Much of the technology especially in the engine is borrowed from ford.

Yeah. Steve Saleen still makes it a point to never refer to his company as a tuner company. The S7 was probably just to solidify that statement.

Taking an existing car and putting a different body on it is way different than what porsche has done with the VAG.
