my arms are getting way to big from polishing cars by hand,
Where can I buy a porter cable locally, or anything simular.
Is the craftsmen one any good?

I have a few, $40 if you want one… you just need a backing plate, but you would need that if you bought it at a store

oh, and the craftsman one does not have the speed and power that you will need for proper defect removal. I can teach you how to use one properly, or point you to a good instructional thread/video on [autopia.org](http://autopia.org)

ummm… I think corey knows of a place in canada, and i know of a place in rochester, but in buffalo… I am not sure. K&S used to have them, but i dont think that they do anymore

Is in Fort Erie. He says he is in Buffalo quite often, so I’m sure you could set up a time to buy one.
You can also purchase the 7336 at Lowes. It isn’t the “polisher”, but the sander. They’re identical. If you are using 6"+ pads then you would want to buy a 6" counterweight so your arms aren’t shaken off.
And the guy in Rochester moved to Texas a few months ago.
Otherwise, you would have to order. However, that’s not such a bad thing since you will want to order pads. You could try some polishes, but aren’t you using Powerpolish still? It is probably all you need.

all swell places to buy pads. I always liked the 7.5" lake country VC pads. They were nice.

the 7.5" VC pads are the best hands down. the old white pad specificall was wonderful, but they changed that system a year and a half ago. I picked up like 12 of the whites on clearance.

WHAT!?
Oh yeah, they added pretty shades of blue, green, orange, etc. Like I really needed that many pads! I actually have every color pad you could possibly want for my Cylco, and it’s honestly become the most confusing thing to figure out which pad is more agressive. The white ones feel like the green ones, and the orange ones feel like the yellow ones and the black ones feel like the blue ones.
My life. Complicated now ;(

Try the Optimum line of polishes.
Or Poorboy’s Super Swirl Removers. 2.5 is splendid. 2.5 + 1 then whatever wax you want would look pretty. I wish somebody would carry some of these products locally ☹ Then I could be like GO THERE AND BUY THIS!!!
But alas you have to order.

what place should i buy the polish from?
I also could use a nice sealer, I have been using #26, but I would like to try something better too
Oh and I need a new clay bar mine is beat, any suggestions?

Claymagic from autozone.
I’ve been using the Sonus line of polishes from autopia, and if there is major swirling/hologramming, I use the Megs Swirl Remover 2.0 first… its pretty aggressive contrary to its labelling and really cleans up an abused paint job. I usually follow it with sonus sfx2, and then sonus paintwork cleanser, and I have been using Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection to finish it. The results are stellar.

Well, I like Klasse/Jeff’s Werkstatt, but it is finicky.
Blackfire is actually a lot easier. Doesn’t really last as long, but oh well. There’s the trade off.
