# Possible to disable 1 power window?

Why not just disconnect the driver side window switch? You’d still be able to lean over and use the passenger side switch. Some of them will pop out without having to remove the door panel- I don’t know if the Mk4s are like that without seeing it in person. It’s usually one plug, often times the lock switch is a separate plug so you could leave that connected.

Instead of going through all the work why not just put a post it note on you steering wheel to remind you not to do it.

I’ve rolled windows down after fresh tint with no problems in the past. I know they tell you not to, but I did and had no problem.
Live on the wild side, just go with the flow.

thanks guys its been a long day i havent got much sleep as is and i didnt really wanna put too much thought into it. i unplugged the window fuse and its fine now ill just pay the tolls out the door tomororow
