Rod bearing finally went after 4 years of hell. Probably the longest recorded life on a stock '04 bottom end, lol. I got this bottom end with 15 hours on it, a +1.4mm stroke (Hot Rods brand WR450 crank and rod), new oil pump ('07 pump has an increased flow and pressure output), and a wrist pin oiler mod done to the case. Plus it has an extra fiber in the clutch bringing it to the YZ450F specs. Also has polished covers, new shift fork and shift shaft, and new seals. Now I need a ported head and get my carb bored 3mm over… as if it was not fast enough.😉 ---

That’s the typical valve cover everyone gets… which is why I bought mine so I could get it powdercoated:excited …now I have 3 K series valve covers laying around:ahh ---

I might polish it or redo the wrinkle paint on it. ---

And, why would you buy that just to polish it? or redo the wrinkle paint? The stock valve cover is your best bet on that. ---
