I have two 1TB WB blacks in RAID 0 and they fly (~180mb/s) and a spare one for storage. Can’t complain. I had a Seagate 500gb that died in less then two months. I heard there was a bad batch of them though. ---

Maybe it’s because they are laptop drive and not intended for 24-7-365 use. ---
