^loveeeee my jpipe, noticed a significant response in throttle and torque. mad the engine really come alive, at least on my j30

just an exhaust and a custom intake… that is enough to give it a little extra power and make it a whole bunch torque-er. i know they make pre cat deletes, but i forget if they are for the j32 (TL motor). honestly i dont plan on anything else motorwise. those mods have woken the car up alottt

Sorry, I put stock, but that is really V2 against V3 pipe. Those are 2.5", and the v3 removes the 3rd cat length, and has longer primarys. Here is the stock one :lol

They do make PCD, and now high flow pre cats at 200 cell. I dont think I am doing anything further than this and an intake, and little handling upgrades. Does pretty well for a car of its weight, just needs to lessen the body roll really.

the biggest problem is that the cat is directly bolted to head and such a small exh outlet they cast lol

You have to remove the axles to get the hub low enough on the MKV VW chassis to remove the strut assembly. The axle bolts are “Stretch” bolts, one time use only.
