A new headunit for the Subaru. Pioneer AVH-X3500BHS Has 4.5/5 reviews on Crutchfield (whereas the other HU I was considering was likeā€¦ 3/5 and $200 more)ā€¦ Paid $250 for it brand new through Amazon. So far Iā€™m liking the m&p canā€™t compare it to anything else as this is the one and only that Iā€™ve carried but the holster is def sweet very comfortable, almost like itā€™s not there ---

Crutchfield was $320, Best Buy was $400. Just keep in mind that Amazon is not a Pioneer authorized dealerā€¦ which means a couple of things. 1) The manufacturer warranty is no longer valid. They will only honor the warranty when it is purchased from an authorized dealer. 2) You will not get any technical support from Pioneer if you have any questions / issues come up. 3) I can almost guarantee that unit is refurbished. Pioneer will not sell to unauthorized dealers, so the only place that Amazon can buy it from are refurbishment dealersā€¦ but they do not say anywhere that it is a refurbished unit. I was burned on a couple of remote starters (my Python alarm / start in my car and the one I put in my wifeā€™s Jeep) that I thought I was buying for a good deal. Within a year they both crapped out on me but the manufacturer warranty was void because it was purchased through an unauthorized dealer. When they ran the serial numbers, they were both shown to be non-manufacturer refurbished units. Amazon never said anything at all about them not being a new-in-box unit and there was absolutely no indication anywhere on the unit or packaging. The ONLY way I found out was by running the serial number. It may not matter to you, just figured I would give you a heads up while you still have the ability to return it if you choose.
