yes because they dont sell Honda filters or VW filters at the junkstore.  
if it were a ford or GM id get the motorcraft or Delco filter from work.

i have a better feeling putting a oem part on my sisters car, she needs it to be rteliable, and its hard to beat an OEM filter.
