Yeah, its a little aggressive. the vq is mostly stock, but it has a nasty clutch that lets you know when you’re foot is getting a little lazy.
also most people wouldn’t notice but those wheels are the 350z track edition wheels made by rays engineering.
other things you wont see until I have more pics, 180 tail lights and CF door panels.
Only 5% of that swap is putting the motor in, the other 95% is wiring and being a mad scientist to make it all work. Right now its sitting in south carolina. I worked at a shop for a while and when they laid me off I paid them to fix some head issues. They ended up screwing me over and wasting my time… and messing up the wiring really bad… so I gave my ae86 to a friend of mine as payment for his amazing services that will repair the damage done by the shop.

I spent about 3 years working on it, and about $8000… pity that I have to let it go. But I know its going to a good home at least.

ya the wiring is a bish, but nicoclub and freshalloy has lots of research and documentation on the subject. Cool stuff

thats good to know, thanks. so far I’ve just been relying on the genius of a friend of mine and the guy who originally built it (poorly, but he did).
This was also my first venture into AEM. I’ve never used one before this. At first I hated it… then I learned how to use it and now I love it.

Slammed it another 3/4 of an inch. Needs some more but the wiring harness will need to be relocated and I’m not down for that right now
