Nice work, I’d definitely do the same if I had a clean S-Chassis, greatly slow down if not prevent the rust issues in the future. I hope you plan on unbolting some of the major areas like rebars, doors n what not to apply anti-seize on the bolts/nuts.

respect, Imma try to replace every bolt every nut/washer that even looks rusted, my plan is to be able to say “mint” as a challenge to other others to find an issue.
I want to be able to say I have a Mint s13 fastback and people not believe me.

^really, without stripping it… how does your rear bumper rebar look? or even above the gastank?
^quarter panel is green due to a poor accident repair and original quarter trying to rot

I still don’t get it. Why not just keep everything original, or paint it. Now you have a car that is covered in Por-15. Not very desirable if you ask me.

Its still original… How would having a car with Por-15 be not desirable I have not even heard of anyone saying they disliked the product…? It’s only the chassis that’s being pored, the rest of the car will be taken in to get re painted black so the only way you’ll be able to tell its pored is when you open the trunk/hood/door and I’m okay with that…
the por15 is just to prevent rust everything. certain areas like the floor/trunk was stripped down to metal and painted, so I could be sure. (Like how the bumper bar is still a bit red)… cars from az so not too worried about rust ( I have found only very little surface rust, nothing I didn’t expect when getting the car ) I wish i could stip it down completely but I dont have the time/skill to go as indepth as you did. The inside of the car was just spot checked and covered. ( like in this pic - [http://i.imgur.com/TZJnJ.jpg](http://i.imgur.com/TZJnJ.jpg) you can see the battery tray is rusted so its getting cut out and u can see just behind it all that bare metal to make sure it didn’t travel anywhere) its not like I’m painting the entire car in that stuff… just waiting on paint because I cant decide if i want to ball out and get the type X stuff, or just leave it a piggy.
