Nothing wrong with that. He’s already driving to and from work, and out-and-about on errands (bought it yesterday). He did a bit of practicing in my friend’s Integra, and after a few jittery starts he was on the right track.

I had another friend buy an '02 WRX with absolutely no prior training – again, after a day or two he was good to go.

I learned on my dad’s Stealth TT when I was 16. I’ve driven 20+ standard vehicles in my lifetime and the Stealth was by FAR the hardest. You almost need two feet to operate the clutch.
