haha 5mbit upload on rogers?
youre complaining that your upload is low? are you crazy
thats the highest upload (like 5x higher than usual) that ive ever seen on a rogers connection
something seems… not right

yeah somethings not right thats for sure. are you near a hospital or any important town buildings? you might be getting fibre optics.
hook up your xbox and watch you just own on your host.

I used to have like 0.5mb upload but I kept calling bc I couldnt seed torrents (didnt tell them that) then after they had that rogers modem upgrade things its alot better.
I used to always have host on original xbox and in Halo 2 I would lag people out of the game lol

I fixed it, just haven’t bothered with an update… hehehe, the auto-neg on the Cisco 1840 FE0/0 link wasn’t talking syncing with my firewall wan2 port…
The good news is that I found out Bell didn’t cap my upload limit so I’ll have even high numbers tomorrow!

I was testing it out today and was only uploading 25-50kB/s… total suck! I had just started the torrent, 36GB torrent and I only had 6GB downloaded, maybe when I finish downloading things will start pushing through…
I connected to SON’s ftp site and was able to spike to 2MB/s… so I’m wondering if I’m hitting some traffic shaping while using bittorrent…
I’m going to copy some dl’d torrents and repost to a tracker while at work…
I can’t get too horny on this, my company comes first and I have QoS / Traffic Shaping set on my firewall… (didn’t explain the 25-50kB/s, I bypassed my QoS settings to test…)

bell always throttles back your speed.
except for some reason at my dads store. i can get a 600kb\s torrent download going. constantly.
but the upload is a bit weak about 75kb\s.
