Hate it when shit like this happens though, especially when its due to the seller being a sleezy fuck and giving you the go ahead but then selling it to someone else who offered them more. I have had that happen to me a lot. I never do that, always respect the first come first serve (if you make an agreement with the person)

That one does torque angles god damnit. I probably still need an intervention, whatever.
Anyway most of the people on CL are pretty straight up. If i’m late on something (like the torque wrench) they always seem to stick to the first come first serve despite my best attempts at turning his sale into an auction. FUCKERS.

Your lucky then, I’ve had a ton of people email me or call me back saying sorry, someone just offered me so and so ammount if you wanna beat that I’ll sell it to you otherwise I’m giving it to them AFTER WE MADE A DEAL

Full set of custom Sherwood T95 leg pads and glove and blocker in custom colors and sizing for not even half the price. Bidding war with this one guy all the way to the end. I placed a bid for like $597.76 try to and throw his bidding numbers off with like 6 sconds left he won the item for like $607.50. Must have sniped my bid at the very last second. I was sooo fucking pissed. A set like that new was close to $1300.
I in fact just ordered the leg pads in the same set up as that auction and paid $727 cause I wanted them so bad

Thats scummy to me. No honor.
Only thing I have gotten through CL was my CRV. Otherwise I have missed plenty of auctions on ebay by mere dollars. Lost on a few cameras before I scored mine. Multiple Transformer lot auctions with valuable figures, I have lost on so many by a dollar or two, its stupid.
Wayne does need an intervention :rofl

Jeremy Baye-n/a FC RX7. His lack of power means he has to take a WAY different line than me around most of the track lol. Why I decided to pass him I have no idea, but you see what happened with the rest :rofl
