Nice part about nitrous is its on / off. Track the shit out of it and spray a little to keep the Nisky lot in the rear view.

Did some wheels in illusion purple. Color pops from purple to blue in the sun, thanks to the rain I have yet to see it myself. :banghead I and coating the center caps asap, and will get nice pics as soon as its nice out, but for now:

Did the throttle body for JSE’s S2000 in black magic.
Also a fuel rail in gloss black.
Poor lighting, but this is a PLASTIC centercap for those purple wheels. Proper pics of the wheels and caps will come shortly.

Plastic.
Every plastic is supposed to be stamped with a composition code. These are PPO/PA coded. Google search and there are databases for the melting points (as well as other properties). Turns out these caps were the same plastic used on most bike plastics. Melting point is apparently 575F!
you more or less have to hot flock (shoot the powder at a surface temp that will instantly melt on contact) becasue its not a very good conductor to ground out the part.

Two questions: Will a sway bar fit in your oven and how does powdercoating hold up to something flexible like a sway bar?

if the sway bar is less than 72" long, it will fit fine.
Depends on the powder. One of the ratings each one has is a flexibility test against cracking or lifting. They coat springs and stuff like that all the time and it seems to hold up just fine. Powder is far less brittle and flexible than cured paint.
not to mention they are usually coated from the factory (aftermarket ones that is).
I say its probably fine. I personally havnt tried it, but I know its done all the time.
