# Power FC Commander Compatibility Issue, Please give me advice!

Hi Son

So i bought a power FC used for my RED top SR20DET it came with the commander, got it from one of these guys from fresh alloy.

When i plugged in the ECU, the commander pretty much stays in the APEXI screen

like this:

I used my friend’s STI power fc commander(version 501A displayed on screen) , it worked like a charm, but i wasn’t able to find out what version his commander is because the sticker behind it is no longer there.

my FC commander serial # is FCC3 020-22084

So which commander do i need exactly? I tried to research online but results came up with totally different set of serial #s.

the one i need is the FCC2 version? \<-- that is what im assuming but i can’t seem to find it anywhere.

what is the serial # on the power fc unit?

PFC SR202R is the 1st version of the PFC and will use a controller with serial FCC NT xxxxxx

PFC SR2014 is the latest version of PFC and uses a controller with either serial FCC FN or FCC3

make sure you have the correct controller for your ecu
