here was my latest dyno with my stock block. I will have a built bottom end next season and like i said, probably shooting for 8-900whp.

3200ish lbs last time i weighed it.

Sounds like a damn stout setup, but it will not like a 'glide. I am not too familair with the Ford trannys, so I can’t comment on them. I suggest you talk to Carl Rossler at Rossler trans in Erie. He knows more about auto trannies for hi-po use than anyone. He can advise you about a tranny and perhaps put you in touch with someone who has done the conversion.

You’re going to need a high stall, 5000 at the very least, or go home.

No if it is setup properly given your power then that is what the given stall speed will be. This “blowing through” happens typically when the stall is not build to properly hold the amount of power being put to it. A 3k stall is not going to stall the same behind a 400 rwtq car as it will a 800rwtq car. Basically as it is setup properly for your power it will be fine. 5k is a damn high stall however it might be necessary to your application. Also I do not believe a glide to be a proper fit to your application at all.

> would you like to help me swap manual transmissions/ axles and whatever else decides to break from teh abuse of an manual trans? lol trust me its not fun and very inconsistant at the track. I can barely shift fast enough with 640whp let alone the power i plan on making with my built motor.

If it meant keepin’ you manual- then sure. I enjoy that cause I’m a masochist.

Are you building the M52 or another motor?

i cant wait till you make 1000+ horse, if you’re at 700 with a stock block, why stop at 8 or 9 after spending a cockload on a built block
