WELL, these cars run on puney 6volt batteries.  
in my childhood i threw car batteries in there and the thingsd rip like crazy.

and i’ve heard you can even series 2 car batteries… but thats another story.

unfortunately, with a 12volt source, the motors dont last too long… but with the purpose of beating the shit out of them anyways, who cares? just upgrade the motor! WEEEE

Pull out the motors then go downhill this way theres no resistance with the wheels turning and the motors/gears…worked for me. I had a red corvette! but that countach makes me jelous ☹
