# PPC6700 or VX6700 Question?

I noticed the other day messing with my phone that programs stay running even when you X out of them. How do you close a program? Besides going into the memory screen under settings and ending all programs? Does the programs running effect the speed of the phone/pda?

I would assuming have a lot of programs open degrade speed.
Adding a question :
How do you string your 6700 to your PC so you can use it as a EVDO modem? :snky:

is this wm05? or 03?
you need to dl a program that closes them, wm has a tough time actually closing these programs even tho the X is hit.
i believe [pocketgear.com](http://pocketgear.com) has some for free.

I think it is wm05. So is that a bug with the software?

So do any of you have MS Voice Command or any other programs for the ppc-6700 you would like to share? 🙂
And where is a good place to get software?
