I don’t, I believe in Keynesian economics, where the government picks up the slack during a recession to get things restarted and then they set off another boom where they make back the money, and then some. See New Deal. ---

LOL, How anyone can argue the point that the Government ISNT TRYING TO FIX ANYTHING amazes me. Sorry, the only way to FIX this problem is to piss off a lot of lower/low-middle class people. There is NO other solution. The Left would rather appease those people and get their votes to stay in office, then piss them off and do the right thing. Sorry, someone has to pick up the tab. If you want to continue to get cheap/free shit… I hope you plan on being out of a job! The only people paying the bills anymore in this country are being downsized and taxed out of existence. I simply dont get it. What good are cheap products, when you no longer have a job to PAY for them? Oh, thats right… WELFARE fixes that little issue for a while. And I am not saying that the Right hasn’t gone a bit too far RIGHT as well. Giving the Banking industry a bunch of money that they could freely pocket while simultaneously fucking everyone else out of theirs, and stopping any lending… was downright fucking moronic. And Govt run Healthcare? In THIS economy? That 85% of the country DOESN’T want, and cannot afford? To appease 15%? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Has the Govt EVER proven to run ANYTHING right? ---

See, that’s where I disagree. 1. I don’t think healthcare should be for-profit, especially not health insurance. I don’t really like the idea of people betting on my life. 2. HEalthcare is something all citizens should be entitled to. This is not some Hobbesian state-of-nature. We are the most wealthy country int he world, for now, and I feel that we should treat our citizens accordingly. ---

what side can you believe? Both say the opposite on every issue? Reduce Debt! yest it will! No it wont! Provide low cost health-care? Yes it will! No prices will skyrocket!
