# Private Messages:  What causes messages to be HELD UP

When trying to send PM’s to people, occasionally I notice they get held up in the “Outbox”, as opposed to appearing in your SENT Box? To me “Outbox” means they are on their way out but have not actually been sent yet.

Help?

I think it means that the other person has not read it yet. I’ve noticed that too, and it just passes and automatically sends it.
