when i turn on my 89 240 headlights no light comes up, but the light opens… but when i turn it to highbeam, the light then works… i know its a problem with the bulb… but can someone please give me info on how i can fix this problem? also, where i can buy the parts such as the bulbs and stuff… thnx goddam! its 236am and i cannot sleep… still thinkin about my car!! OMG… i wish i could just walk outside and look at it… but it sso far away at my friends house GRRRRRRRRRRRRR refer to my other posts in “SPEEDOMETER NOT WORKING? omg omg omg, What’s with the fancy colouring? Do yourself a favour. Go to Canadian Tire and replace your bulbs with the Bosch H4 conversion. Dunno about your speedo. Check cabling/fuse/whatever. There’s probablly link to the S13 factory service manual somewhere in the FAQ section. ---

how much is it for the Bosch H4 conversion bulbs?? easy to install?? doesn’t it have to be right size and everything? & the speedo… i fixed that problem ---

Bosch H4 kit is like $100cad after tax and everything. Install is easy. Take off your old headlight, stick in new headlight/mounting bracket. ---

the combi switch (the stalk, high/low, signal) is notorious for failing. Take off your steering wheel, and expose the switch. There’s a bunch of brass contact tabs there. Check and see if any are bent, or dirty. Try cleaning it up the best you can.
