yes eric that is why my car was extra loud. along with why it lurched when i two stepped and why it would stall sometimes after i two stepped. also why it was so rough and it was really notchy shifting.
the shifting was notchy and i asked paul and chris if that was normal and they told me that it was ok and that it should be expected with a racing clutch. also the fact of using 5 speed tranny fluid instead of the 6 speed stuff that is specified for my car

Its been said but, $500…damn. Maybe you should’ve bought a $1150 clutch and taken it to a liable and insured shop. I definitely wouldn’t pay two guys I was “friends” with more than dinner and beer for work. If I’m paying somebody, its somebody that can and will back it up. Hopefully they make amends with you. I have a feeling they will be paying for it in the community for a long time.

Curious to the response here. Would be incredibly surprised/impressed if the two who did the poor job originally just decided to fess up, refunded the cash and bought another clutch.
What about legal action? There must be some for a sum of money like that lost…
…but I’m in for the response now, awaiting the other side to this.
