Who here thinks I should start a build next year? Im thinking of having a built engine shipped several weeks before I even purchase a Z next summer. Im looking at a good priced 2003-2006. Alot of these guys are asking 31-35k for a 2003 with 50k kms on it, where I could probably get them down to 25-28k.

So you want us to discuss the build up a of a engine your not going to build but instead get shipped to you before you buy the car you’re hoping to get 6mths from now for 10k less than asking price? Yawn, its too early!

pick up an rb25/30 and have it build to withstand 600HP, and then buy a base model 350Z from the states. i’ve seen them low as $21K already, and since most people buy new suspension, wheels and limited slip, there’s no point in buying a track edition if you’re going to change all that.

Me too!
Who here thinks I should get a McLaren F1 shell and put an rb26 in it? I am going to do a build on one but…actually… well…maybe I’ll just buy a built one.
Some guys are asking for like $900,000 for these McLaren things but I totally could get them down to 850,000.
What do you guys think?
