Well you all know Project Shrek had some beginner luck. So while building and rebuilding I have accumulated a bunch of extra parts along with this block. The plan is to build my first engine. Shreks engine was built by a engine builder so the opportunity to learn wasn’t there. I figure this would be a good starter and a good time to build a stock, to spec, Honda motor. Well the valve cover is just sitting on the head and the head is just sitting on the block. Its going in my DD go-cart! I’m going to start the shell once the engine is just about built. Here’s a ITR intake manifold next to the stock b16. I picked this up last summer along with a turbo manifold for 150. I sold the turbo manifold already for the same price. I thought I would use the ITR TB for shrek. Might send it out to Maxbore first! ---

I want to build a real simple and clean DD. Most of the parts going into this are used so its only going to be so nice. I plan on doing a lot of cleaning and scrubbing and some painting. Once the engine is mostly together Im going to build a new harness. I have just about all the major parts to put this together. Anything that’s not up to pare I will buy new like gaskets and hardware. ---

you do realize you will lose a decent amount of compression with the gsr pistons? b16 efs are fun lil cars and can get great gas mileage too depending on the trans ---
