no problem. I under stand what it takes to do odd shit. its not as easy saying im going to build a car. puff its done! its one thing to say, ya im going to put a 2J in my 240. but its another to aqualy do it and see what it takes to make it all work, not to menchan the rest of the work you have done to the car!! great job, keep it up oh and good job on the updates keep them coming. ---

OK NEWS updates!! THE CAR is 100% working now just need to get sasha to tune it, but i just gotta find the cash first We were havin problems with the car not revin past 3000rpm, but i have fixed that and also a belt coming off i have also fixed that just gotta clean up the small things and get the cash and sasha can have fun & hope to have it out @ the next/LAST CSCS event OCT 6th 🙂 ---

This project is awesome, make sure to keep taking your time as it gets closer to the end! So you’re sticking with the stock twins for now, correct? I think they’re good to about…what, 500, 600whp? 🙂 You should put together a concise writeup when it’s all done of every last bit needed and costs etc to get it all done, as well as perhaps some thoughts on performance and how it suits the chassis and what not. I’m sure a lot of people would be interested! ---

regarding power…JDM twins are good for about 400rwhp which is what i have ☹ since i didnt upgrade. where us spec they have been know to make about 513rwhp. Well…cost lol i do have a parts list and cost of everything. Now is everything on the list needed for the swap…NO. I just decided that upgrading things here and there and buyin new rims suspension blah blah was needed. Anyone could do a buget swap for about $8000 ## 2JZ-GTE - $2000 Engine Mounts + Competition Clutch - $1600 7MGTE Tranny - $350 1JZ Bellhousing - $400 1JZ Flywheel - $350 Water Pump - $160 Wiring Harness - $480 [If Nothing on the harness is broken or needed] Shifter Extension - $312 Custom Driveshaft - $400 [Need Ur 240sx Rear Half Shaft + R154 Front Half Shaft] R154 Driveshaft - $50 2JZ Oil Filter - $8 Clutch Line - $134 Pulley Kit - $151 [need the water pump pulley from this kit for the us spec water pump as JDM pump is diff] Walbro Fuel Pump - $112 NGK Spark Plugs - $35 IC Pipes + Downpipe - $600 Downpipe Flange - $112 Koyo Rad - $400 [I would recommend This] $7654 + other random costs 1 Thing i can tell u is the swap is not cheap but end results should be fun! Great info man! I REALLY want to see this thing in person at some point! Oh and come on, nearing 400rwhp coming from a 2JZ in an S14 isn’t really anything to be ashamed of… 😃 What about the wiring? Is it done (you mentioned a wiring harness and showed the car running)? How did all that work out? ---
