I hate bear. Les is the man. My dad has been teaching survival for years, and he flat out told me to never watch bear as he will get you dead.

I’ve known that he fakes this shit for a while now. If I want to learn about actual survival I will watch Les, but if I want to be entertained I watch Bear. Survivorman puts me to sleep sometimes.

They’re totally different shows.
Man Vs. Wild presents different scenarios and how you should confront them; Survivorman just trys to survive for a week with very few things.
After Bear jumped into that frozen lake and then rubbed snow on his body to help absorb the water on his skin, I gained some respect for him.
