so what kind of stuff do you guys want to do this year???
i have confirmed that on a sunday afternoon in the summer i can hold a banquet style chinese buffet at my grandmothers restaurant…
it is in St. Catharines, the reason i say a sunday is because sunday night in niagara falls is cruise night… it will be a blast…
200+ hot rods, and the emerging import sections… + our american friends.
price will be $13 - $15 per person this is subject to change depending on Tip, participants etc…
we have the option of 5+ dishes.
NO ALCOHOL WHAT SO EVER…
this’ll be great
so what else can you guys think of that is a for sure thing?
i would like to go go-karting again soon.

Im intrested in setting up a SON BBQ in the K/W area, and i’ll be looking
for volenteers when the nicer weather comes closer.
-this will be hosted in local park,
-Cheap tickets for lots of food and drinks (no alcohol)
-Raffle draw for prizes
-possibly have our own designated parking spot…
-also can go for a cruise…
I will post more info as the date becomes closer 😛

I should be able to setup a weekend tech day/party at my place. It would be BBQ style (no alcohol if you intend to drive of course) and we would be working on club cars, installing whatever people need help installing, etc. Definitely a possibility some time in the summer…

M, Andrew and I were talking about a NY road trip some time this summer.
I also think that a few cruizes should be organized
there are some great roads arount the GTA

cottages can be arranged no prob…
i already have a American cruise pending to a very large nissan meet in NY state, albany i think…
waiting on confirmation of date etc…
i believe it is going to conflict with a DN clinic.

^^^ Wow, that post is very contributing to this thread. :roll:
So the ideas we got so far are:
- Niagra cruise
- NY Road Trip
- Shannonville cottage orgy
- Swap meet
- Car wash
- Tech day
- BBQ
- The usual DN events
- Random regional meetings
- Track events (drift and grip)
- SOLO2 meets \*\*
Other ideas:
- Cruise to Wasaga Beach w/ BBQ and stuff
Any other ideas?..
\*\* Not really a meet or anything, but those around Mississauga are
free to meet up with me when I hit some of the SOLO2 events just for
the fun of meeting up on weekend afternoons and such.

Solo2 events should be fun and very convenient. Also the IDRC drag races at Cayuga or the London track.
It would help in getting exposure for the club.

Charity car show and BBQ in colaboration with other respected car clubs, something i’ve been toying with for the last few months.
My idea is to have this event set up in a sponsored parking lot such as a Canadian Tire, have a bunch of clubs bring out their cars, set up a BBQ, try to get some sponsors to give away some things for a raffle, call in some media coverage and collect cash fora charity or some sort of non profit organisation (MADD ?!!?)
I’m goin gto start looking into this event more thouroughly towards mid March when the weather gets better and interest in cars grows.
Any suggestions/ ideas?!?

I like the idea Dre. Would be interesting to have an all Nissan show & shine. 🙂
I’m sure there is a GTA Sentra, 300zx, 240z, 280z, etc. sites that would love to do a collaborative show.
Or we can do it with any car manufacturer. :bigok:
