Amherst has enough traffic and shops/stores, it’s not like it NEEDS it. Also traffic is already one of the worst areas in Buffalo to try to “drive through” in the evening rush hour. So the “against” people do have a good point. Their real concern I think is the property Value when the once quiet street turns into the new road to “avoid traffic”. I could care less either way, but like you and others have said, will they get filled?
