# PRP - 5/23/09

Ran both Street and Trophy (just wanted some more passes)
Two time trials in street…one in trophy…
A couple drops of rain fall out of the sky.
Everything shuts down…racing is cancelled…some poor excuse about a huge lightning storm coming our way. It rains for about 30 minutes…not even very hard…no lightning or thunder of any kind. Less than an hour later the sun is up, the roads are dry, the rest of the day is perfect…WTF???
My three passes: (on motor only)
12.32 with R/T .065
12.31 with R/T .066
12.32 with R/T .063
I would have had a great day!!!

Well, so far so good…I guess I’m down about a tenth and a half…I can definitely live with that if it holds up all summer!!
We’ll see what happens this Friday night if it doesn’t rain…I’ll be spraying it!!

If bracket racing is your thing, have you been out to QCR? It’s just a bit longer from Allison Park drive wise, and they don’t shut down operations if there’s a rain shower in Alaska like PRP does.
